Bayern Munich have told Real Madrid to forget signing David Alaba and Robert Lewandowski, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge saying ‘the door is closed.’
Los Blancos have been linked to both Austria international Alaba and Poland’s Lewandowski but Rummenigge insists no players will leave the Allianz Arena without the club’s approval, and they don’t want to sell Alaba or Lewandowski.
“The door is closed. No player will leave Bayern against our will,” AS quotes Rummenigge telling Sport Bild, the full interview to be published on Wednesday, the former Germany international also commenting on Bayern’s relationship with Madrid and Barcelona.
“We have a very good relationship with both Madrid and Barca. But Europe has known since 2008 we don’t sell any player against our will,” he added.
