Madrid bid for Lewandwoski if…

Real Madrid will bid for Robert Lewandowski if they’re given the impression Bayern Munich could be talked into selling.

AS notes the German club have insisted Lewandowski isn’t for sale and with the Poland international contracted until 2019, the ball is in their court, though talks over a contract extension haven’t been fruitful as Lewandowski wants €20m-a-year and Bayern won’t go that far.

It’s speculated, however, that there is an agreement between Madrid director general Jose Angel Sanchez and the player’s agent, Cezary Kucharski, but Bayern at this point wouldn’t let Lewandowski go for less than a €100m fee.

But Lewandowski has spoken of a desire to move to Santiago Bernabeu and he is said by AS to be ‘the galactico Florentino Perez wants’ and though it wouldn’t be easy to get Lewandowski out of Bayern, the player’s support could help.
