Barcelona have responded to reports Javier Mascherano has an agreement with Juventus by declaring the centre-back ‘non-transferable.’
It was reported on Wednesday that Masche had reached a three-year deal with the Serie A champions, who next needed to come to terms with Barca.
Mundo Deportivo reports, however, that a source at the club has declared the Argentine ‘non-transferable’ and insisted he ‘isn’t for sale.’
Mascherano’s contract at Camp Nou runs to 2018, MD add, and has a clause of €100m, which it’s thought would be enough to ward off interest from any club.
