Neymar told the crowd at Barcelona’s La Liga-Copa del Rey double celebrations that he is ‘happy’ at the club.
The Brazil international has been linked with a world record move elsewhere but AS reports his comments as a sign a contract renewal is close to being confirmed.
“It’s a great season for us. A very difficult season, because we were sad after elimination from the Champions League, but we have done everything to have the other two Cups and there they are,” Neymar said, AS noting he was speaking in Spanish.
“Thank you very much for sharing another year with us. I am happy at this club and I am Barca. Visca Barca and Visca Catalunya.”
