Sevilla boss Unai Emery is an option for Italian giants Milan and fits the profile required by the club’s owner Silvio Berlusconi and its Chinese investors.
According to a report in Tuttosport, the Chinese group have several items on the agenda to discuss after Berlusconi signed an exclusivity agreement with them on Tuesday, including the position of Coach with regards next season.
Christian Brocchi is currently in charge on an interim basis after replacing Sinisa Mihajlovic last month and the current owner would like to keep him in the job, according to the report, but it could be difficult if he sells his majority share in the club.
Emery is an attractive proposition as he possesses plenty of European experience and his teams play an attacking style.
The 44-year-old’s current agreement with the Andalusians expires in June 2017, yet he may find it hard to resist Milan’s overtures should they come calling after his three and a half years at the Sanchez Pizjuan.
