Eusebio Sacristan wants Real Sociedad to focus for the last two games of the season, starting with ‘always difficult’ Rayo Vallecano.
La Real have nothing to play for in the final rounds of the campaign but the Coach told a pre-match Press conference of the importance of ending the year well.
“There are still two games to go and they’re important. We’re at home with our fans and we want to give a good image, to give joy to our fans and we want to finish as high as possible, to continue to transmit good feelings and each game is important in this regard, and we want our team to be recognised for its competitiveness,” he said, AS reports.
“Rayo are always a difficult opponent. They ask a lot of you, they’re daring and courageous and always cause trouble. We’re ready for them. We’ll have to be focused and serious and be ready for a game of a high tempo.
“Finishing highly is important. Our fans would like us to be in a European position for next year but we want to be higher rather than lower in a very strong and important League.”
