La Liga President – and Real Madrid fan – Javier Tebas believes Atletico Madrid are favourites for the Champions League Final.
The teams meet in the showpiece for the second time in three years and Tebas has predicted a different outcome to 2014, when Los Blancos won 4-1 after extra time.
“I see the game quite even, but for the game they played in the semi-finals and the intensity, Atletico are favourites. It’s an extraordinary success for La Liga. Let’s see if it continues [in the Europa League. Let’s see if we get one or two in the final,” Tebas said, AS reports, with Villarreal and Sevilla in the last four.
