Levante trio ask for forgiveness

Zouhair Feddal, Mate Simao and Deyverson ask for forgiveness after attending a concert the day Levante lost to Real Betis, the evening before training.

AS reports the three are expected to be fined but they’re not banned from selection by Coach Rubi, with Les Granotes bottom of the League ahead of the final six games of the season.

“I want to apologise for what happened. [The fans] don’t deserve what we’re experiencing,” Feddal said.

“I ask for the support of the fans. We will move forward. We need your help more than ever…with it we can win on Friday against Espanyol,” Simao added.

“Those who know me know I would give my life for this club. We’ll show that on Friday,” Deyverson said.

Levante have confirmed disciplinary proceedings are underway for a breach of the club’s internal rules, but Super Deporte noted the three trained as normal on Tuesday.

It’s said that Deyverson and Simao concluded their Sunday night out by having breakfast at 7am, when training was due to start at 11.30am.
