Paco Alcacer believes Valencia “have enough quality to win our remaining games”, starting against Sevilla on Sunday.
Valencia are just six points clear of the relegation zone in La Liga with seven games left after a season marred by issues on and off the pitch, but victory over Sevilla could propel the side to as high as 11th if other results go their way.
“We haven’t done anything good season, but we have enough quality to win our remaining games. With hard work, we can do it,” the striker said at a Press conference.
“Our objectives [for the season] have changed and we must be realistic. It would be wrong for us to think about the points we have to make up. We think that every game is a final.
“[On meeting with the fans], it’s important to see the love they have for you and we saw they’d fight like the team would.
“It wasn’t a bad conversation. It was a mutual request, and we thanked them for what they do and a little more.
“I imagine is win at Sevilla. On Sunday we will give a joy."
