Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola claims Real Madrid’s 2-0 defeat to Wolfsburg in the Champions League on Wednesday was a “lesson” for them.
Madrid failed to live up to their favourites tag against Wolfsburg as they now face a mountain to climb in the return leg of their quarter-final next week, but Guardiola hailed the result as further proof romance still existed in football.
“It’s a lesson for the fans and for the experts,” the former Bacelona Coach said at a Press conference ahead of Bayern’s game against Stuttgart on Saturday.
“Football is wonderful, anything is possible.”
