Barcelona forward Neymar underwent tests after pulling up in training with Brazil but no injury was found and he’s ready to play Uruguay.
Neymar is with his national team for World Cup 2018 qualifiers but had to leave training on Wednesday with discomfort, but the Brazilian Football Confederation [CBF] said in a statement no problem was discovered.
“Neymar felt muscular pain and spoke to team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar,” a statement confirmed, AS reports.
“He accompanied Neymar for tests. Neymar underwent an examination that revealed no injury. The forward can continue training and will be ready for the game against Uruguay.”
Brazil meet Luis Suarez’s Uruguay on Saturday and then next Wednesday play Paraguay.
