Ariedo Braida has revealed Barcelona “need” a new defender this summer and that Paul Pogba could yet join the club.
Barca have been linked with the likes of Aymeric Laporte, John Stones and Marquinhos in recent times, amidst speculation the Catalans are targeting reinforcements at the back, and their international sports advisor has confirmed this to be the case.
“The club need a defender because of the high age in that position. We must always improve,” he told Sport Mediaset.
On the topic of Barca’s interest in Pogba, plus the Juventus midfielder’s teammate Paulo Dybala, the former Milan general added: “If Pogba leaves Juve, he’ll go to Barcelona, Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain.
“Dybala? He’s a great player.”
