Reports from Italy say Juventus Coach Max Allegri could be asked to replace Zinedine Zidane if Real Madrid don’t win the Champions League.
AS cites a story from the Gazzetta dello Sport which says Allegri has caught the interest of Florentino Perez and, if Zidane can’t land Madrid’s 11th European Cup, a change will be made.
It’s said that Perez first took notice of Allegri a year ago, when his Juve side knocked Madrid out of the Champions League on their way to the Final, where they lost to Barcelona.
AS adds that Allegri has a year left on his contract in Turin, though there is a renewal on the table until 2018 that would almost double the trainer’s €2.4m pay packet.
