Karim Benzema will miss Real Madrid’s trip to Malaga in La Liga this afternoon with a suspected hip injury.
The striker reportedly pulled up after training on Saturday and has since been replaced in the travelling party by Castilla hitman Borja Mayoral.
Pepe and Gareth Bale also remain absent as they continue their respective recoveries, while Raphael Varane’s dismissal at Athletic Bilbao last week renders him ineligible.
