Eusebio Sacristan has warned that there is more to come from his Real Sociedad side after Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Granada in La Liga.
A brace from starlet Mikel Oyarzabal, sandwiched by Jonathan’s sixth goal of the season, fired the Basques to a third straight victory and just six points off a Europa League spot, and the Coach praised his side for turning their campaign around.
“It was a tight game, decided by the clarity and quality of our attackes. Both teams were aware of the game’s importance,” he said after the match.
“[On qualifying for Europe], we’ve long been in a situation which wasn’t ideal for us and we can’t change what’s led us to win three straight games, so we must now focus on the next one.
“I’m proud of how the players competed, and I’m giving opportunities to all our players because it makes us stronger.
“We haven’t reached our peak yet because there’s still room for improvement.
“The only thing we can do from the inside is to keep picking up points and improving every day.”
