Tebas: FIFA at fault for contract leaks

La Liga President Javier Tebas believes FIFA are at fault as contracts for Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos and David De Gea are leaked.

The three documents have appeared on the Football Leaks website, with the transfer agreement that took Bale from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid, details of Kroos’ deal with Los Blancos and the terms of De Gea’s collapsed move to Santiago Bernabeu all appearing.

“These contracts are leaking due to FIFA. We at La Liga also have these contracts but they haven’t been in any media,” AS reports Tebas arguing.

“They’ve all leaked when they’ve reached the TMS [FIFA’s Transfer Matching System, which deals with transfer paperwork].

“FIFA is in anarchy and that’s the main reason for the problem. There’s a terrible lack of co-ordination. It’s a madhouse.”

Tebas also weighed in on where the Copa del Rey Final should be held, with the Bernabeu proposed but questioned due to Barcelona’s likely involvement.

“It should be played at a big stadium. Hopefully the Bernabeu,” he said.

“A game that important should be at a large stadium, with a large capacity. If not the Bernabeu, it should be Vicente Calderon.”
