Javi Gracia says his Malaga players are feeling “confident and secure” about themselves ahead of Friday’s encounter with Getafe in La Liga.
The Andalucians ended a run of three games without a win against Eibar last weekend, courtesy of a 2-1 victory at Ipurua, and the Coach is hopeful of another three points when El Geta come to town in Week 23.
“We’re competing at a high level and in good run of form, both of which make us feel more confident and secure,” he said at a Press conference.
“We respect Getafe a lot, so we must take this match with the importance of getting three points nearer to our target.
“We’re causing our opponents problems with the way we play, while not losing heavily.
“Hopefully, we won’t [begin to] because it causes huge suffering.
“I’ve been with other teams and had seven goals go past them.”
