Benzema order to be lifted?

Reports in France say the judge in the Mathieu Valbuena blackmail allegations has asked for a court order on Karim Benzema to be lifted.

AS cite radio station RFL as saying that judge Nathalie Boutard has requested the prosecutor of Versailles removes an order that prevents the Real Madrid striker associating with Valbuena.

Should the order be lifted then Benzema would be available to France for the summer Euro 2016 tournament as there would be no legal prohibition to he and Valbuena sharing a locker room.

But it’s noted that even if the order is lifted, it doesn’t mean Benzema won’t be charged for his role in the alleged attempt to extort money from Valbuena over the existence of a sex tape.
