Lewandowski to wait for Madrid?

Robert Lewandowski will ignore interest from Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea to join Real Madrid when the club’s transfer embargo is lifted.

The Bayern Munich striker is said by the Independent to be ready to ignore Premier League suitors and wait for Los Blancos to be in a position to sign him.

Madrid will as it stands be barred from registering any new players after the close of the winter transfer window up the summer window of 2017.

They were banned by FIFA from registering players for two transfer windows, a decision the club is appealing.

Lewandowski is reported to prefer La Liga as he looks for a new challenge away from the Bundesliga.
