Eusebio Sacristan has claimed that Real Sociedad “can beat anyone” on their day ahead of Friday’s trip to Sporting Gijon in La Liga.
The Basques are unbeaten in three League games, a run of form which has seen them move five points clear of the relegation zone, and the Coach is backing his side to do the business again when they travel to El Molinon.
“We want to maintain our performances in recent games,” he said at a Press conference.
“I’m happy [with the team] and the idea is to continue in this line.
“I’m convinced our results will improve. We insist on this determination.
“[On injuries], if something happens then it’s for a reason, so we must be vigilant to see why [we’re picking up so many].
“[Sporting] have clear strengths and simply play to them.
“Still, we know what we’re capable of, and if we’re able to have good performances then we can beat anyone.
“We must be able to impose our game [on our opponents] because then we’ll have more chances of winning.”
