Toni Kroos believes Carlo Ancelotti’s mix of tactical coaching and man-management made him a perfect suit for Real Madrid.
The Italian was replaced by Rafa Benitez in the summer after he failed to replicate his success from the previous season, and the midfielder made no secret of his admiration for the man who brought him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
“[Ancelotti’s] the Coach who has the best conditions for success – tactics and the human aspect – which aren’t easy to juggle, especially at Real Madrid,” he told Die Zelt.
“Everyone was sad when he left, even those who didn’t play.
“I don’t have a bad word to say about him. He’s the best at studying opponents, preparing for games and finding solutions.”
