Sandro Ramirez explained his lack of celebration when scoring a hat-trick as Barcelona routed Villanovense and said ‘strikers need nights like this.’
Barca progressed to the next round of the Copa del Rey with a second leg hammering of their Segunda B opponents, Sandro claiming three of the Catalans’ six goals, with Villanovense getting one in reply.
“I’m happy personally, but especially for the team’s work, which was great from beginning to end,” Sandro said, Marca reports, before he touched on his stony-faced reaction to getting the goals.
“I am happy but it’s one game and we have to continue working. We have an important match on Saturday at Valencia.
“Any striker needs a night like this. We need to score and feel good. Personally I am very happy. I did what I could, what the Coach and the team ask, which is working for everyone. I’ll keep working as usual.”
