The lawyer of Karim Benzema has insisted that the Real Madrid will save his image in the wake of Mathieu Valbuena breaking his silence.
Valbuena slammed Benzema for treating him like his “worst enemy” among other unsavoury remarks in his first interview since his France teammate was charged with a conspiracy to blackmail in the case of an alleged sex tape featuring the Lyon midfielder.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea for Valbuena to continue feeding this matter. His declarations are not a setback,” Alain Jakubowicz told Infosport.
“I invite Benzema to strive to prove he is not the man he has been made out to be.”
