Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho revealed how he and Spain striker Diego Costa settled a row at half time. ‘There were a few kisses and cuddles.’
The BBC note that Mourinho was unhappy with Costa in the first half of the Blues’ Champions League win over Maccabi Tel-Aviv, and chastised Costa, who responded in kind.
“I was disappointed. I reacted and he reacted too,” the former Real Madrid trainer is quoted as saying.
“At half time in the dressing room there were a few kisses and cuddles.”
Chelsea beat the Israelis 4-0 with Costa not able to contribute a goal, but the ex-Atletico Madrid striker did break a six-game duck on Saturday with the winner against Norwich City.
