Nordin Amrabat absolved Javi Gracia of blame for Malaga’s situation, pinning it on the players and vowing ‘no more excuses.’
Malaga fell to the bottom of La Liga thanks to the weekend’s results, losing away at Malaga while Granada and Levante both won, and Amrabat is eager to put things right.
“Everyone knows it’s not easy for the club and the fans. We need to be together and united. We need to go in the same direction and results will arrive,” the forward told the Press, AS reports.
“The reality is we don’t deserve to be in this position. We are and we have to change everything, change the atmosphere and the environment.
“The Coach tells us the tactics and the players have to implement them, give their best.”
Malaga this weekend face Granada in a crucial bottom-of-the-table encounter and Amrabat hopes the home fans come out in force.
“We need extra in this game. We can’t make any more excuses and we have to get a good result.”
