Nuno Santo refused to entertain the idea of leaving Valencia after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Las Palmas but vowed “to rectify this situation”.
Los Che’s run of successive victories came to an end against the new boys as Jonathan Viera came back to haunt his former club, and the Coach slammed his players for failing to defend their lead.
“We reacted badly to our goal,” he said after the game.
“We weren’t ourselves, neither by image, game nor strength.
“We weren’t able to control the game. Las Palmas dominated with long spells of possession, especially in the second half, and had a good game, but it was partly due to our discredit.
“We have to rectify this situation. The fans are sovereign and can express their opinion however they want.
“[On whether the solution would be him leaving], the solution is to pick up victories.”
