Sergio Ramos and Marcelo could be available for Saturday’s Clasico with Barcelona but Real Madrid may not have a place for Isco.
AS reports Ramos, Marcelo and Isco trained with the rest of the squad on Monday evening but Isco isn’t expected to have a place in the side.
Ramos, injured against Sevilla and Marcelo, hurt against Paris Saint-Germain, are expected to return to Rafa Benitez’s starting XI, with Ramos expected to have a pain-killing injection after a shoulder problem.
Isco was injured with the Spain team over the international window and with Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez likely to be brought back, the former Malaga midfielder would be squeezed out.
Benitez may only return Benzema and go for a midfield of Luca Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro, which would in turn leave Isco without a role in the team.
