A report from Catalonia claims Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants to take Barcelona’s Marc-Andre Ter Stegen to Anfield.
Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers earlier this season and Sport say he was previously keen on the goalkeeper when at Borussia Dortmund.
It’s suggested that Klopp isn’t impressed by either Simon Mignolet or Adam Bogdan and could try to tempt Ter Stegen away from Camp Nou with the offer of first team football.
Ter Stegen has been restricted to Champions League and Copa del Rey action in his time at Barca, mostly deputising for Claudio Bravo.
Sport add though that Ter Stegen is content at Barca for the moment and wants to succeed there before considering moving on, and Barca wouldn’t consider selling either.
