Nuno Santo maintains Santi Mina in the Valencia attack to play Gent, joining Paco Alcacer and Sofiane Feghouli, who replaces Pablo Piatti.
Feghouli is the only new face from the side that beat Malaga on Saturday as Jaume Domenech continues in goal and the back four remains Joao Cancelo, Shkodran Mustafi, Aderlan Santos and Jose Gaya.
Javi Fuego, captain Dani Parejo and Andre Gomes make up the midfield, behind the three-pronged attack of Feghouli, Alcacer and Mina.
