Neymar admits he’d welcome Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona after being asked which of his Brazil teammates could play for La Blaugrana.
The current Barca forward was appearing at a sponsor’s event and was asked about a number of topics, starting with potential additions at Camp Nou.
“Coutinho is a ‘crack’ [a brilliant player]. I’d like to play with him at Barca. He has the level for Barca,” Marca quotes Neymar as saying.
Neymar moved on to talk about his performances so far this season and reflected on his sending off at the Copa America.
“My father always told me the team is more than the individual. He told me to work the most in training and in matches, to be better every day,” he recalled.
“You can’t complain to referees because whatever happens, happens. I don’t like to miss games. The lesson is I can’t get carried away with nonsense. I was wrong and I learned from it.”
