James Rodriguez's muscle injury could be worse than first feared, with the Real Madrid midfielder reportedly facing a month out.
Although Los Blancos confirmed the 23-year-old sustained a tear to his left thigh while on international duty with Colombia, a medical specialist claimed the player was only looking at a maximum of 10 days on the sidelines.
However, reports in Spain are now suggesting that the tear will see him spend a considerably-longer spell on the treatment table.
The so-called 'FIFA virus' has already hit Madrid, with Danilo also being primed for a month-long absence due to a foot injury with Brazil.
However, they are well-placed to survive without the pair as Isco and Dani Carvajal are expected to slot straight in.
