Dani Ceballos has ended speculation about his future by confirming he wants to stay at Real Betis and “enjoying these fans for many more years”.
The Spain Under-21 international has been the subject of links with Real Madrid all summer, with the player missing the new boys' La Liga opener against Villarreal last week due to concerns over his mental state, but he has now committed his long-term future to Benito Vilamarin.
“I want to continue with Betis and enjoy these fans for many more years ,” he told AS.
“They trust me because I've never failed them. I've always given everything for this shirt and I only think about all the love that I've received from them.
“[On links with Madrid] they're only rumours. I want to stay at Betis.”
