Nolito has advised Barcelona to speak to Celta Vigo if they want him as a replacement for Pedro Rodriguez, who looks Chelsea bound.
The forward spoke to the Vigo edition of Radio Marca and admitted he would be interested in moving to Camp Nou, even if it means giving up the guaranteed starting role he enjoys at Balaidos.
“Celta are in charge. There’s a clause in my contract and if Barca really want me they have to talk to my team,” he said.
“Playing at Barca would be a challenge. Even not playing every minute, Barca gives you a lot. Celta is my home but if I go to Barcelona, it’s because they’re the best.
“If it was money then I wouldn’t still be here. I’ve had more lucrative offers. Barca are champions and Champions League winners.
“I could extend my Celta contract before August 31. I don’t think it has to wait. I want to focus on the League now.”
