Reports from England suggest David De Gea will be dropped by Manchester United for their opening Premier League game.
United begin the domestic season at home to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday and De Gea has been the subject of a long-running link to Real Madrid.
Louis Van Gaal has suggested De Gea wants to move to Santiago Bernabeu while it’s also claimed in the Press that the manager isn’t happy with De Gea’s summer performances.
Sergio Romero has been signed on a free transfer and he could take the gloves – ahead of Victor Valdes, with whom Van Gaal has had a falling out.
Van Gaal has not yet made up his mind, it’s said, and has previously insisted De Gea would start the season at Old Trafford.
