The President of Pedro Rodriguez’s first club claims the Barcelona forward’s mother “told me he was leaving for England”, likely with Manchester United.
The Red Devils are being heavily tipped to sign the 27-year-old as a direct replacement for ex-Real Madrid star Angel Di Maria, who is closing in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
“The other day, Pedro’s mother told me he was leaving for England,” Raqui San Isidro patron Jaime Lorenzo told El Larguero.
“I think it would be a good challenge for him and he will have more playing time.”
Lorenzo also revealed that his club could be about to pocket €450,000 from the deal, providing United meet Pedro’s €30m release clause, although it is not yet set in stone.
