Juventus are reportedly closing in on a deal worth at least €8m for Atletico Madrid left-back Guilherme Siqueira.
The Bianconeri are keen to reinforce their left side, with Patrice Evra’s years advancing and Kwadwo Asamoah likely to move into central midfield following the departures of Andrea Pirlo and, imminently, Arturo Vidal.
Consequently, AS reports Juve have set their sights on the 29-year-old and are nearing an agreement with Los Colchoneros, despite an opening bid of €8m being rejected.
Siqueira only arrived at the Vicente Calderon last summer from Granada and eventually emerged as the side’s first-choice left-back in 2014-15.
However, with a return for Filipe Luis all-but-complete and both Lucas Hernandez and Jesus Gamez capable of filling in when required, the Brazilian could now link up with former Atleti teammate Mario Mandzukic in Turin.
