Ricardo Rodriguez has poured cold water on gossip linking him with Real Madrid, insisting there are only rumours at play and he is happy at Wolfsburg.
It was said that Madrid had lost faith in Fabio Coentrao and their search for a left-back had landed on Switzerland international Rodriguez.
But Marca reports Rodriguez as saying he isn’t aware of any interest from Los Blancos and, regardless, he is content where he is.
“It’s nice to hear but I’m a Wolfsburg player,” the defender said when asked about the story by reporters.
“It’s an interesting idea but they’re just rumours.”
