It is reported that Manchester United have made a new €45m offer for Real Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos.
The Red Devils have already had one bid for the new Blancos captain turned down but, according to AS, they have now returned with a new proposal.
The Santiago Bernabeu side however are rumoured to be holding out for an asking price of €90m, with club President Florentino Perez having recently stated the 29-year-old will not be sold.
The situation is further complicated by the Spanish side’s ongoing pursuit of United’s David De Gea. According to reports, the Old Trafford club will not consider allowing their goalkeeper to return to Spain unless Madrid allow Ramos to join them.
