Sergio Escudero has spoken in praise of Miguel Angel Moya, the Atletico Madrid goalkeeper who looks set for Porto.
Atletico are signing Jackson Martinez from the Portuguese giants and it has been suggested that players could move in the opposite direction, with Moya among the names floated.
Escudero played with Moya at Getafe for a year-and-a-half and the custodian left a good impression on the left-back.
“Moya is a goalkeeper who wins games. He has good reflexes and did some things that surprised me a lot,” Escudero is quoted by Marca as telling the Portuguese Press.
“He’s very reliable in goal and has great quality with his feet, passing long or short.
“This season, before his injury, he was brilliant. If he was wanted last year by Atletico and this year by Porto, it’s because he’s in a very good phase in his career.”
