The agent of Barcelona full-back Adriano has confirmed the defender wants to leave Barcelona in search of a first team place.
Mundo Deportivo claim that Roma is an option interesting the full-back, while Liverpool are linked in the English Press, but Barca are reluctant to let him go as Adriano offers cover on both sides of the defence.
The player’s agent, Paulo Afonso, confirmed to MD that while Adriano likes it at Camp Nou, he wants more game time.
“Adriano is very happy at Barca, he gets along very well with everyone, and has a great history there, but he wants to play, he wants more minutes, and that’s the only reason he wants to leave,” the representative said.
“We are listening to offers and when we have one that convinces the player, we will meet with the club to find the best solution.
“Adriano is grateful to Barca for all the years he’s been there and all the titles he has won.”
