Madrid duo ready to depart?

Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev is reportedly in talks with CSKA Moscow, while West Brom are ready to swoop for his teammate Cristian Benavente.

Both players are currently believed to be surplus to requirements at the Santiago Bernabeu, and Russian newspaper Izvestia claims the former Villarreal and Sevilla loanee could return to his homeland.

However, Madrid have made it clear that they will only accept a loan deal and not a permanent transfer as new Coach Rafa Benitez may ultimately decide to keep him at the club.

Cheryshev, 24, had also been linked with Liverpool, but it appears those negotiations have stalled.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports Benavente, the 21-year-old regarded as ‘the Peruvian Ronaldinho’, is on his way to the Black Country for a reported £3.5m.

However, in similar vein to the deal that took Alvaro Morata to Juventus last year, Madrid will retain a buyback clause so they can resign the attacking midfielder at a later date.
