Sergio Busquests is ready for a battle against Juventus in the Champions League final, warning of the Italians’ midfield quality.
Barca meet the Italian champions in Berlin on Saturday and Busquets was asked at a Press conference about the players he will be up against.
“It’s a hard game, but it is a Champions League final. Both Juve and we know what it takes. It will be very hard,” he said, AS reports.
“They have a very strong midfield and will pose a tough battle.
“We’ll have to get hold of possession and develop from there. Their defence is very good. Arturo Vidal is tireless.”
Busquets was also asked if Lionel Messi could score a goal against Juve similar to the one he plundered in the Copa del Rey final, after Giorgio Chiellini suggested he couldn’t.
“Leo can score that goal in any competition and against any opponent,” Busquets replied.
“He’s done it several times. He’s the best in the world and I’m sure he could with the talent he has.”
