Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he hopes to continue working under Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid next season.
The Portuguese netted a hat-trick in Los Blancos’ 7-3 victory over Getafe on Saturday, which marked the end of their La Liga campaign, and he made it clear after the match that his admiration for the Coach extended beyond their professional endeavours.
“[Carlo’s] a great Coach and an amazing person. I hope we can work together next season,” he wrote in an Instagram post accompanied by a photograph of the pair.
Ronaldo’s treble was his eighth in the League for 2014-15, leaving him just 10 goals behind Madrid’s all-time leading scorer Raul Gonzalez.
