Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic felt the Catalans “were the better team over the two games” against Bayern Munich.
The Blaugrana will be aiming to pick up a fifth European Cup in Berlin on June 6 after their 5-3 aggregate win at the Allianz Arena in the semi-final of the competition, despite going down 3-2 on the night, and the Croatian believed Barca showed their quality over both legs.
“We worked well because it’s not so easy to play here in Munich, but we were the better team over these two games,” he told reporters.
“It was a tough match but that’s normal as we were playing against one of the best teams in the world.
“This final is now no longer a dream – it’s a reality. Barcelona have been one of the best for the last few years so we are going to enjoy the moment,” he insisted.
