Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu says the next few weeks could turn this season into a dream one for the Catalans.
Bartomeu watched his team reach the Champions League final by beating Bayern Munich 5-3 on aggregate, despite losing 3-2 at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday, and hailed Luis Enrique’s team afterwards.
“We are all very happy and at the start of this season this is where we wanted to be,” he told reporters.
“We are in the final of both the Copa del Rey and the Champions League, so it’s been a job well done. It could turn into a dream season.
“When you have seasons like this you must work during it to realise the fruits of your labour. That is the Champions League final and now we must go to Berlin in June.
“I don’t mind who we play, Real Madrid or Juventus, because both are great teams.
“In the meantime we have other objectives, such as La Liga and the Copa del Rey final on May 30.”
