Toni Kroos has hinted that he will be fit enough for Real Madrid’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Juventus on Wednesday.
The Germany international went down with a suspected hamstring injury in Los Blancos’ 2-2 draw with Valencia at the weekend, but he is feeling optimistic about making a quick return after undergoing medical tests.
“Thank you for your kind messages! I’ve just been through the examination. Don’t worry. Let’s focus on Wednesday,” he tweeted.
Despite Kroos’ positive sentiments, however, there has been no official word on the midfielder’s condition yet.
