Midfielder Ivan Rakitic says Barcelona must take nothing for granted despite his side’s 3-0 Champions League semi-final first leg defeat of Bayern Munich.
A second-half brace from Lionel Messi and a late Neymar goal means the Catalans have one foot in the final in Berlin, although Rakitic warned that there is still work to be done.
“We know it’s going to be difficult next Tuesday so we have to prepare well as their Coach [Pep Guardiola] knows our players very well and we’ll have to work at 100 per cent,” the Croatian told reporters.
“But we have Lionel Messi in our team, who is unbelievable. He is the greatest player in history and we are really happy that we have him in our side.
“It’s very important all the work he is doing for us and we hope that in the next few games he can repeat what he did against Bayern.”
