Barcelona haven’t begun looking at alternatives to Paul Pogba if they fail to land the Juventus midfielder, reports claim.
Sport say Pogba is Barca’s main objective for the summer, despite their transfer embargo, and the obstacles standing in the way of the transfer have been laid out.
There is no plan B if Pogba doesn’t join, Sport add, but Barca are considering how their midfield options for next season.
Only when the Pogba move collapses irrevocably will Barca look into signing a player such as Atletico Madrid’s Koke, they believe.
But Barca are in the market for a midfielder as there is doubt over Sergi Roberto, and Xavi Hernandez is expected to leave. A younger midfielder with potential remains a possibility in that case.
