Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez could be set to end his Real Madrid nightmare with a move back to the Premier League this summer.
The Mexican has been on loan at Madrid from Manchester United this season but has found playing time hard to come by at the Santiago Bernabeu and struggled to cement a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s starting line-up..
However, according to ESPN, the Red Devils are set to use him as a bargaining tool to bring Saints full-back Nathaniel Clyne to Old Trafford.
It is understood that Southampton would want in the region of €25m for the 24-year-old England international, although United would like to throw Hernandez into the equation to reduce the cost of the deal.
Hernandez is believed to be open to a move back to England, where he would likely get the minutes he craves following just two La Liga starts this term.
