Real Madrid defender Marcelo says he is confident of his team’s chances ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid.
The Brazilian, speaking to assembled media, focused on the importance of playing with intensity and the need to forget about the last six games against their neighbours.
’I don’t see any favourite. We’ll give our all in an attempt to go through. This game is the only thing on our minds.
“We’ve changed a lot. We’ve played quite a few times so things change constantly. These will be two difficult games and we want to win both of them.
“We’ll be giving our all and will be intense. We’ll battle until the end because it will be a difficult game.
“’Atletico are a great team. They are full of fight. We’re not focusing on previous encounters. We have two games coming up and we need to show that we can progress.
“’We’re well aware of what we need to do and are full of confidence,” he declared.
